I don't know what you mean so just a guess.
5×4=20
m×4=32
32÷4=8

m=8
I would guess a teacher wants this in a more math classroom way but that is my random guess.

Equation at the end of step  1  : m 5 — - — = 0 8 8 Step  2  : m Simplify — 8 Equation at the end of step  2  : m 5 — - — = 0 8 8 Step  3  :Adding fractions which have a common denominator :

 3.1       Adding fractions which have a common denominator
Combine the numerators together, put the sum or difference over the common denominator then reduce to lowest terms if possible:

m - (5) m - 5 ——————— = ————— 8 8 Equation at the end of step  3  : m - 5 ————— = 0 8 Step  4  :When a fraction equals zero : 4.1    When a fraction equals zero ...

Where a fraction equals zero, its numerator, the part which is above the fraction line, must equal zero.

Now,to get rid of the denominator, Tiger multiplys both sides of the equation by the denominator.

Here's how:

m-5 ——— • 8 = 0 • 8 8

Now, on the left hand side, the  8  cancels out the denominator, while, on the right hand side, zero times anything is still zero.

The equation now takes the shape :
   m-5  = 0

Solving a Single Variable Equation :

 4.2      Solve  :    m-5 = 0

 Add  5  to both sides of the equation :
                      m = 5

One solution was found :                   m = 5

if my medical expenses are $30,000 per year for 35 years with inflation at 5.13% how much money would I have to put in an intere
Serga [27]

Answer:

  $1,021,337.13

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of present values of medical expenses is ...

  30,000/1.05 +30,000(1.0513)/1.05^2 +30,000(1.0513^2)/1.05^3 +...

So, the series has an initial value of 30,000/1.05 and a common ratio of 1.0513/1.05. Its sum is given by ...

  S = a(r^n -1)/(r -1)

where a = 30,000/1.05, n = 35, r = 1.0513/1.05.

Filling in these values and doing the arithmetic, we get ...

  S = $1,021,337.13

You need an initial deposit of $1,021,337.13 to cover rising expenses for 35 years.

Can you form a triangle with 4+5>8 if yes how?
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

Yes.

Step-by-step explanation:

The triangle inequality theorem states that in order for something to be a triangle, any of it's two sides added together must be greater than the remaining side. Because 4 and 5 are the shortest sides and they satisfy the triangle inequality theorem, you can form a triangle.

Nathan took his car in for service and repairs. He had a coupon for 10% off. Original Prices • Labor $223.83 • Parts $318.85 • O
motikmotik
223.83 + 318.85 + 63.83 = 606.51
100 - 10 = 90 --> 1 - 0,10 = 0,90
606.51 * 0,90 = 545.859
545.859 * 1,06 = 578.61054 ≈ $ 578.61

Which is equivalent to 2^-3/2^2
Veronika [31]

Answer:

1/32

Step-by-step explanation:

To understand this question you would first of all need to know about negative exponents and multiply fraction by integers.

Example I would like to find out 2^{-2},

You would first normally solve this question by squaring, which would result in 4 then divide it by 1. Like this: 1/2^{2}

Which would be 0.25 or 1/4

Lets apply this knowledge to the following question:

1. 2^{-3} / 2^{2}

2. \frac{1}{8} / 4

3. 1/32
