Discuss one of the common myths of becoming a parent and why it is not true.

Being sad all the time. What is the most common myths of becoming parents is being tired and sad all the time. The tire part is understandable but the sad part is optional. People say when you have kids you start to feel more down and moody. But really the reality is new parents want to have an uplifting spirit for their kids. Not the other way round.

What are the qualities of a nurturing parent?

Showing compassion, Love, in all honesty towards your child.

3. There is more than one way people can become parents. What do a biological parent, adoptive parent, and foster parent have in common?

All want children and to have companion. Most people who want children are ready in their life are me financially and emotionally stable for a another person in their life. Of course it does depend on the person wanting kids or not but at the end of the day all we want in life is to be loved and for some people that's having a child in your life. And I think that's what all these different parents having common.

What financial needs are parents obligated to provide for their children?

In addition to financial needs, what other needs might a child have that a parent is expected to provide?

Will financial leave would have stable for a education, clothing and shoes, food, and many more. Emotionally they would have to provide Love, care, trust, honesty, and discipline in their child.

Critical Thinking Questions

Select one of the qualities of a nurturing parent and why you feel this quality is important.

Love, Love such a powerful thing and it can impact someone's small or big. Love is within all of us and to show love shows that you care. Is a mother or father shows nothing else but love and honesty that child will grow up to be and feel loved. This is one of the most important qualities of parent could have.

Which parental responsibilities do you think would be the most challenging? Why?

Keeping up with a schedule. Keeping up with your child is honestly what I think is the hardest part. Imagine having to drive your child to school, pick him up, take him to football practice, Cook food for him, help with his homework, read him a book, tuck him into bed, and do it all again next morning.

Which parental responsibilities would be the most interesting to you? Why?

Probably cooking for him or her. Cooking is probably one of my favorite passions and I think that will be fun to have a kid and cook for him or her.

Discuss one positive reason and one negative reason for having children

One negative reason is you have to keep up with someone in care for someone and spend time with someone. It's a lot and sometimes it can get really tiring especially having more than one kid.

Which parenting style do you think you would use as a parent? Why?

I would probably be fun and caring towards my child but also be down the wall and be disciplined with them. You also want them to feel like they're your best friend Vice versa.

Which of these pieces of advice can help you be a good active listener and
8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

The correct answer is C: Don't get bogged down copying every word.

Explanation:

If you want to be a good active listener and note-taker you should learn how to separate relevant information from non-relevant. This basically means that you should not get bogged down copying every word, only the most important things you will need later.

When you are listening to someone and taking notes of their speech, you should not use a dictionary to look up words you don't know, because that will make you a lot of time and you will lose your concentration and maybe miss something important.

You should not choose where will you sit, because your sitting position or lighting will not help you to become a better listener or note-taker.

On the other hand, you should pay attention to the things the speaker writes on the board, as such things normally contain some important words, statements, concepts or information.

Therefore, the correct answer would be C.
