Bracero Program was the program to initiated during the second world war to fulfill the labor crisis in US. The program included a laws and diplomatic arrangement which US signed Farm Labor Agreement with mexico. It was signed in August 1942. The agreement provided sanitation, adequate shelter and food along with wage of 30 cents per hour to the laborers. contract also allowed the importation of laborers from Guam. It was primarily the "Mestizos" who were the social class in Spanish colonial society that comprised the carpenters, tailors and bakers, although there were exceptions.
