Which of the following best represents the "Environment" element of geography?
bogdanovich [222]

The correct answer is: "The construction of a road through a mountain pass".

There are six essential elements of geography, which are the following:

 1. World in spatial t erms
 2. Places & region s
 3. Physical Systems
 4. Human Systems
 5. Environment & Society
 6. Uses of Geography

Element nº 5 is denominated 'Environment and Society" and it is referred to the manner in which humans modify the environment and viceversa. There are good, bad and neutral effects. For example, pollution would be a negative one.

Therefore, the answer must be the third option, as it describes a human modification of a natural environment.

Options 1 and 4 describe natural facts, not man-made. The second options describes a manner is which humans benefit from solar power but does not directly refer to a modification of the natural environment.

1 grain of sugar contains about 600 quadrillion molecules of glucose which can be used to make about 18 quintillion molecules of ATP

It would take about 77 quintillion molecules of glucose to make 1 second of atp and it would take around 2.310 sextillion molecules of glucose to make 30 sec of atp and somewhere around 77 quintillion grains of sugar to store around 30 seconds of atp

30 molecules of atp are made with 1 molecule of glucose 10 glucose molecules make 300 atp

(the number of glucose molecules times 30 equals the number of ATP molecules.)

Divide the number of molecules of ATP needed by 30.

7.7 x 10^19 (77 quintillion)
