PLZ HELP!!!! In the True Confessions Of Charlotte Doyle, how would you describe Charlotte at the beginning of the story???

English
1 answer:
REY [17]3 years ago
7 0
In the beginning of the story of "<span>True Confessions Of Charlotte Doyle," Charlotte wants to be proper and civilized. At the age of 13, she has already begun to understand the notions of being proper, such as ladies wear gloves, they drink tea, and they read morally sound books (which are pretty boring). She basically soaked in all of the information given to her from her school for better girls.

I hope this helped.

Thank you,
Otaku</span>

This "italicized" part of the sentence is an adjectival dependent clause. It acts as an adjective to the word motorist and cannot stand alone without putting it with an independent sentence, such as "The motorist lost his way."

The persuasive technique that is being used here is name-calling.
This means that this cereal company is using, usually fake news and no evidence to say bad things about the rival company, disregarding whether it is actually true or not. People will see this cereal ad and believe it, regardless of whether there are any evidence to prove the claims.
