When I experience static electricity, I felt like I was zapped for a few moments. Static electricity seemed to be like when two components or things bump into each other and this situation will then cause the shock. The shock is made by the imbalance of electric charges and until you do something like take your hand away or get zapped from the person/thing you were zapped by the electric charges will stay there.

If you could change your name what would it be? Why would you change your name to this? Give your name a meaning and explain why
Roman55 [17]
I would change my name it would be Brooklyn. It’s somewhat of a cliché as to why it would be this name but, I’ve always wanted a name I could shorten to something and Brooklyn would allow that. Maybe Brook or Lynn? Aside from that I’ve also loved the idea of visiting or moving to Brooklyn, NY (a Brooklyn living in Brooklyn makes me happy)! The meaning of Brooklyn is water or stream and it’s simply important to me because it would mean I would have a name I can have pride in and that is me.

I hope this helps!!

Choose the best word to complete the sentence: In spite of the wildfires, the homeowner remained _________ as they evacuated the
skad [1K]
First of all, we need an adjective here, to describe the homeowner.
We can exclude abyss and convoy because those are nouns.
So we can choose from poignant and calm. But since poignant means sad, it doesn't really fit here.
The best answer is B) calm.
