The base is a square, therefore all the sides of the base are the same. This also means all the triangles have the same area.

10*10 = 100 cm^2 for the base

0.5*10*12 = 60 cm^2 for each triangle

100 + 4(60) = 340 cm^2

Ganezh [65]
Assuming that the two investments are X & Y
X + Y = 6300
X = 6300 - Y                                       (1)

9/100X + 4/100 Y = 372                       (2)
replacing X from (1) into (2)
9/100(6300-Y) + 4/100 Y = 372
567 - 9/100Y +4/100Y = 372
(-9+4)/100Y = 372 - 567
5/100Y = -195
Y = 100*195/5 = 3900
From (1) we can get X
X = 6300 - 3900 = 2400

Answer:

m=7w+4

Step-by-step explanation:

Linear Modeling

It consist is setting up a linear relationship between two variables, given some experimental data. Only 2 points are needed to set up the equation of a line, but if more than 2 points are used, then the result should use statistical approaches like linear regression to find the best-fit line.

For the question at hand, Marty practices his piano lessons 11 minutes the week #1. It provides the first point (1,11). He practices 25 minutes per day on the third week. It gives us another point (3,25). This is enough to find the equation of a line. The general formula for a line, having two points (m1,w1) (m2,w2) is

\displaystyle m-m_1=\frac{m_2-m_1}{w_2-w_1}(w-w_1)

Let's plug in our values

\displaystyle m-11=\frac{25-11}{3-1}(w-1)

Simplifying:

m-11=7w-7

\boxed{m=7w+4}

What is the solution to 2(-4x+1)=2/3(x+2)
Rzqust [24]

Hello!

The answer to your problem is: x=1/13

Simplify both sides of the equation

(2)(-4x)+(2)(1)=(2/3)(x)+(2/3)(2) (Distribute)

-8x+2=2/3x+4/3

Subtract 2/3x from both sides

-8x+2-2/3x=2/3+4/3-2/3x

-26x+2=4/3

Subtract 2 from both sides

-26/3x+2-2=4/3-2

-26/3=-2/3

Multiply both sides by 3/(-26)

(3/26)*(-26/3x)=(3/-26)*(-2/3)

Get your answer

x=1/13

Hope This Helps!
