Answer:

F1 generation

Explanation:

As we have studied, during the start of Mendel's experimentation, he crossed true breeding plants showing one form of character with true breeding plant showing other form of a character. For example: A cross between true breeding tall plant with true breeding short plants resulted in the all tall offspring.

The F1 of first filial generation, he obtained from the cross between parents showed all dominant forms of traits in phenotype. For example: The offspring of those plants showed dominant traits and all recessive traits were masked due to the presence of dominant alleles. This is because dominant traits need only one dominant allele of the gene to be expressed, however recessive traits need two recessive alleles of the genes to be expressed. Please see the attached picture for better understanding.

Hope it help!

What does phylogenetic evidence tell us about protostomes?
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

There were multiple transitions from water to land.

Explanation:

Protostomes are species whose mouth develops near the blastopore such as mollusks, annelids, and arthropods. Protostomes originated alongside deuterostomes and xenacoelomorphs. Deuterostomes anus forms near the blastopore and mouth form at the other end.  These distinct adaptation patterns were observed in living taxas and are believed to evolve in the gaps of phylogenetic pattern during the transition from water to land.

In metazoans phylogeny, such gaps are frequent in protostomes and deuterostomes. The differences in the embryonic development depicts changes induces through transition.

Glucose, one of the products of photosynthesis
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

stores chemical potential energy within the bonds of the molecule

Explanation:

Glucose, which has the chemical formula, C6H12O6, is the major product of photosynthesis. It is the way through which autotrophic organisms store energy. Glucose is an organic molecule capable of storing chemical potential energy in its chemical bonds. The photosynthetic equation is:

6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2

However, this potential energy is released and made active when glucose molecule is broken down and converted to ATP via cellular respiration.
