Volume of the Triangular prism = 1/2 (base*height*length)
V = 1/2 (2 * 2 * 5)
V = 10 cubic inches.

For the surface area, you can divide the prism into parts:
It's made of three rectangles and two equal triangles.

For the two triangles:
The area of each of the triangles is 1/2(base x height)
Area of each triangles = 1/2 (2 * 5)
Area of each triangles = 5 inches^2.

For the three rectangles:
* one is equal to base x length,
Rectangle1 = 2 x 5
Rectangle1 = 10 inches^2.

* another is equal to side 1 x length
Rectangle2 = 3 x 5
Rectangle2 = 15 inches^2

* and the last is equal to side 2 x length.
Rectangle3 = 3 x 5
Rectangle3 = 15 inches^2

Adding all the components up,
10 + 15 + 15 + 5 + 5 = 50 inches^2

Therefore, the surface area of the prism is greater than volume 50 > 10

Ghella [55]
(a,7) lies on the equation of 5x-y=8, that means we solve for x when y=7.

5x-(7)=8
5x=8+7=15
x=3
=>
a=3

Which of the box plots A,B Or C show a sample that has
Paul [167]
The answer is C
This is a box plot diagram also know as a box and whisker plot as you probably see where it gets its name from, to find which diagram is correct you need to look for the following things. First we need to see if the median which in this case is 12 is in on the correct place which in C it is nicely lines up to 12 in the center of the diagram. The median for a the line in the line in the middle of the box plot.
Now we need to have a look at our lower quartile and see that it does start at 6 and the upper quartile does end at 16 these are the lines that make the rectangle shape in the centre lucky for us in C they do. Then we need to see if the lines that run horizontally through the box ( may also be called the whiskers) start at the minimum 3 and end at the maximum of 22 which they do so in the end gives C is true only diagram with all of these in.
Hope this helps !
