List at least three different theories about the death of edgar allan poe.
BARSIC [14]
One theory is that Poe was beaten to death when he drank to much at the bar with his friends. He then wandered off and maybe ran into some guys who stole and beaten him to death.
Another cause of death could be from carbon monoxide poisoning. When Poe died his hair tested for certain heavy metals and it showed inconclusive. He could’ve got the poisoning from his indoor lighting but since the results were inconclusive no one is for sure.

The last theory could be a lot less sinister theory and that his flu could of turn for the worse and caught Pneumonia.

In "The Lottery," how does the fact that names are called and people select their piece of paper work to create suspense?
Anettt [7]

The fact that names are called and people choose their piece of paper work in “The Lottery” creates tension by making readers wonder what the papers imply.

What exactly is “The Lottery” about?

The lottery is handled in “The Lottery” in such a way that it creates suspense by piqueing the reader's interest in what the lottery is.

It is suspensive that defamations are moved and called out after the scholar recognizes that being selected for the lottery is an abominable thing.

This was said because it's a slow way to reveal that isn't the lottery loser, building the reader's anticipation and the characters' nerves.

Both the reader and the imaginary creature know anything horrifying is going to come about, but it's a secret, this is a flourishing method to make over dread for people both inside and outside the novel.

Therefore, option C is correct.
