Think about it for a moment; when you read a book you normally don’t have feelings about the narrator when ‘others speak’ in this case, talking when its characters’ turn to speak… why? Because, it’s all about the characters, not about the narrator at that moment.

The reaction of other people who have already read the book might interfere in your own perspective about the narrator; however, what really interferes at the end, is the way the narrator expresses his thoughts and feelings while you’re reading the book.
