How does the advancement of women's rights serve as the foundation of India's policies to discourage population growth?
Doss [256]
When Women's rights increase so too usually does their formal education, which allows them to have more high paying jobs and they can then tell their husbands, no I cannot have a kid right now because I have to work and support this family and the husband cannot say no because if she gets pregnant they lose income, party of which is why Japan has such a low birth rate, because they have a very high women working rate. But on the other hand Niger has a very low amount of women in the work force, this is because they have very little rights. I hope I helped I learned this in Ap human geography class
