Well, it depends. Those who were in favor of his policy were treated well, while those who were opposing him in any way were subdued to harsh treatments, that included imprisonment, torture and even death.

Hitler believed that the German citizens who were of pure blood and descent (Aryans) should have the higher social rank. Therefore, he created a racial theory inside which Jews, Slavs, Roma people and others were seen as people of lower rank. Many of them were sent to camps, prisons, and during WW2 especially a lot them were killed in gas chambers.
