Answer:
Hello future me!
2020 has been... to say difficult would be an understatement. We've experienced something unprecedented this year. The virus started at the beginning of the year and is unfortunately still here at the end. We had to change our lives completely and accept the "new normal" as they call it. We can no longer go out the way we used to; we don't go to school - we have all the classes and tests online. I haven't seen my friends in a long time, which is the thing I miss most. It has been a difficult time but I had to learn how to cope with this new situation I found myself in.
So here's are some of my takeaways from this horrible year:
- find something to occupy yourself with. It might be a new hobby, acquiring a new skill, watching all of those movies you were always saying you'd watch (now's the time!)...
- start working out! I know you've been saying this for a while, but this is your perfect opportunity to get your body in perfect shape
- fix your sleeping schedule. You know it got messed up in previous years because of school and life, but now is the time to finally get better at it
- read read read! When are you going to read all of those books your bought and never read if not now
- spend more time with your immediate family. This year, I realized how important family is and that hey, they're actually not bad people
- stay safe! Don't leave your house unless you really need to - this way, you're protecting yourself, your family, but also other people
- and finally... wear a mask! Please, wear a mask at all times outside.
A. Because he states that Maria was in a different religion and had different traditions too. and he’s trying to include her in his and his family’s culture. he says “their marriage was not their choice”. Because their marriage was chosen for them. So maybe his parents would like him to carry the tradition. And that’s why they are uncertain with why he married Maria.
