He asks Oedipus to come back from Colonus to bless his son, Eteocles. Angry that his son did not love him enough to take care of him, he curses both Eteocles and his brother, condemning them both to kill each other in battle. Oedipus dies a peaceful death; his grave is said to be sacred to the gods.

I think we need more information to thoroughly answer this question, but here is a small starter I did to hopefully help you out a bit :D

Overall, it makes things better because a MDC (More developed county) usually has more food, technology, etc and a LDC (Less developed country) is usually in more poverty + etc.
