Anthropomorphic means human-shaped. The word comes from the greek  anthro means human being and morphic means shape

Anthropomorphic may not be just 'human shaped', but being assigned human characteristics. For example, an owner that claims their cat is 'worried' might be said to be anthropomorphising, or making an anthropomorphic comparison.
