Standard form polynomials

Standard form of Polynomials is given below .

Step-by-step explanation:

1. A polynomial is in standard form when its term of highest degree is first, its term of 2nd highest is 2nd etc. Correct, standard form means that the terms are ordered from biggest exponent to lowest exponent. The leading coefficient is the coefficient of the first term in a polynomial in standard form. For example, 3x^4 + x^3 - 2x^2 + 7x.

2. Polynomials are sums of terms of the form k⋅xⁿ, where k is any number and n is a positive integer. For example, 3x+2x-5 is a polynomial.

3.Polynomials with more than 3 terms can be called simply polynomials. They're all polynomials. Otherwise, you can use the appropriate prefix (i.e. quadrinomial = polynomial with 4 terms). As for monomials being considered polynomials, monomials are just a special case of polynomials in which there is only one term. Polynomials can be long strings of terms, or in other words, monomials.

Answer:

The temperature dropped 12 degrees over 3 hours. How much did it change each hour?

Step-by-step explanation:

This question (the answer) is asking you to do 12 divided by 3. That would be 12/3 (which is what was in the original question). Also, the temperature dropped, so that would be why it is -12/3

Is 12.89 irrational
STatiana [176]

No.  It's the ratio of  1,289  to  100 .

Also, it can be written as a fraction with whole numbers
on top and bottom, like this:    1289 / 100 .

Also, it can be written down on paper completely, using
digits and a decimal point or fraction bar.  (You did that.)

Any one of these three facts makes it a rational number.

On a vacation in Puerto Rico, Rose jumped off a cliff into a river in EL Yunque Forest Reserve. Her height as a function of time
balandron [24]
H (t) = - 16t ^ 2 + 16t + 480
 For this case, the first thing to do is to match the polynomial to zero to find the roots.
 We have then:
 0 = -16t ^ 2 + 16t + 480
 From here, we obtain the following roots of the polynomial:
 t1 = -5
 t2 = 6
 We ignore the negative root because the time is always greater than zero.
 Answer:
 it takes Rose to hit the water about
 t = 6 seconds
