A rectangle can also a square, which means they can have four equal sides and it would still be a rectangle, so you can take 100, divide it by 4 and each side will equal 25 ft. and when you try to find the area it will be 625 ft^2 and that is the biggest area possible because if you try any other combination, the area becomes less and less.

Find three consecutive integers such that when three times the third is increased by the first, the result is 8 less than five t
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

<h3>            9, 10 and 11</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

x - the smallest of three consecutive integers (the first)

x+1 - the next of three consecutive integers (the second)

x+2 - the last of three consecutive integers (the third)

3(x+2) - three times the third integer

<u>3(x+2)+x </u> - three times the third increased by the first

5(x+1)   - five times the second tnteger

<u>5(x+1)-8 </u>  - 8 less than five times the second

3(x + 2) + x = 5(x + 1) - 8

3x + 6 + x = 5x + 5 - 8

   4x + 6 = 5x - 3

       -4x        -4x

        6 = x - 3

         x = 9

x+1 = 10

x+2 = 11

Check:  3×11+9 = 33+9 = <u>42</u>,   5×10-8=50-8 = <u>42</u>

What is the best result for h?
Kryger [21]

Answer: First option.

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for "h" from the given the equation S=2\pi rh+2\pi r^2, you need to:

Apply the Subtraction property of equality and subtract 2\pi r^2 to both sides of the equation.

Then you need to apply the Division property of equality and divide both sides of the equation by 2\pi r.

Then:

S-2\pi r^2=2\pi rh+2\pi r^2-2\pi r^2\\\\S-2\pi r^2=2\pi rh\\\\\frac{S}{2\pi r}-\frac{2\pi r^2}{2\pi r}=\frac{2\pi rh}{2\pi r}\\\\\frac{S}{2\pi r}-r=h

Every day, Katie looks for seashells on the beach. She has 28 shells in her collection. Katie finds 12 more shells each day. Wri
Mashcka [7]
100<28+12d

If she wants to collect over 100 then the 100 would be less than (<) what she collects. She is starting with 28 so whatever she collects is added on. Because she collects 12 a day, you would multiply 12 by however many days, d, she collects.
