The mass number of an element is equivalent to the number of Protons and Neutrons in the element. For example Oxygen has eight protons and neutrons, therefore its mass number is 16. You could also calculate this by simply rounding the atomic weight of the element to the nearest whole number. Oxygen's atomic weight is 15.994, which as you can see, would be rounded to 16 :)

Ket [755]
Yes, this is true!

In the early times of the solar system, when the planets were still being formed there were many impacts. For example, it is thought that the mood is a result of such an impact: another celestial body hit Earth and part of it remains as today's moon. Such impacts are no longer typical.

The Mt. St Helens eruption in Washington state m 1980 measured 5 on the volcanic exclusivity index (VEI). Only 57 people died fr
Crank

Answer:

b. The death toll from volcanic eruptions do not always correlate to exclusivity, and can be affected by human actions before and after the eruption.

Explanation:

Many volcanic eruptions don't kill anyone. This is because most active volcanoes are well-known to local residents, who give them appropriate respect.

Lahars are deadly, but so are pyroclastic flows, and releases of ash and/or poison gases. The two deadliest eruptions in recorded history caused death by starvation and tsunami.

The point of the paragraph was that the VEI was not directly related to the number of deaths.
