English

In Act 1, Scene 2 of Hamlet, Hamlet has a conversation with Claudius and Gertrude. One example of verbal irony occurs when Hamlet says "<span>Not so, my lord. I am too much i' the sun."

In this scene, Claudius asks him why he continues to be so gloomy. (He specifically says, "</span><span>How is it that the clouds still hang on you?")

Hamlet's reply to Claudius' question is ironic. He is not "in the sun" -- first of all, he is in the castle; secondly, he is depressed and sad.</span>

When plotting a novel, what should you remember about the events that form the rising action?
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

D).Each event should make the plot more complex.

Explanation:

Hey there!

I would say your answer is D

The reason I say your answer is D is because in a story, there are many events that lead to the climax. Each event that leads up to the climax is more complicated and then after that climax, you reach the falling action which leads to the solution.

Hope this helps! Comment if you need help understanding something better! :)
