Hello hello :))) please help me with this problem
Vsevolod [243]
Since they want the unit of volume to be cm^3, first we have to convert the values given from inch into cm
=> 12 in = 30.48cm
4 in = 10.16cm
14 in = 35.56cm
Since both of the figures are cylinders, we have to find them one by one
Find the volume of the upper cylinder
Formula: V = pi*r^2*h
We know, pi = 3,
radius = diameter of base/2
=> r = 30.48cm/2 = 15.24cm
height = 30.48cm
We get V=3*(15.24)^2*30.48=21237.6cm^3

Find the volume of lower cylinder
Formula: V = pi*r^2*h
We know, pi = 3,
radius = diameter of base/2
=> r = 35.56cm/2 = 17.78cm
height = 10.16cm
We get
V = 3*(17.78)^2*10.16 = 9635.6cm^3
Therefore, the volume of the object is
V = 21237.6cm^3 + 9635.6cm^3
= 30873.2cm^3.

Find the simplified product 2 square root 5x^3(-3 square root 10x^2
Ivanshal [37]

The simplified product of 2\sqrt{5x^{3} } and -3\sqrt{10x^{2} } is -30x^{5/2} \sqrt{2}.

Given Two expressions: -3\sqrt{10x^{2} } and 2\sqrt{5x^{3} }.

We have to multiply both the expressions and it can be done as under:

-3\sqrt{10x^{2} } *2\sqrt{5x^{3} }

Firstly we have to multiply -3 with 2 to get

=-6\sqrt{10x^{2} }\sqrt{5x^{3} }

Then we have to find square root of x cube and x square which is x to the power 3/2 and x to the power 1.

=-6x^{3/2} x\sqrt{10}\sqrt{5}

Now we have to multiply both the numbers in the root to get the answer;

=-6x^{5/2} \sqrt{50}

Square root of 50 is 5 root 2.

=-6*5\sqrt{2}x^{5/2}

=-30\sqrt{2}x^{5/2}

Hence the simplified product is -30\sqrt{2}x^{5/2}.

I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST TO BEST ANSWER
cluponka [151]

Answer:

23

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all substitute x with g(x) on the expression of f(x)

; (f.g)(x) = -4(2x - 6) + 7

; (f.g)(x) = -8x + 24 + 7

Then substitute the value of x with the value 1...as the question asks yu

; (f.g)(1) = -8(1) + 24 + 7

; Hence (f.g)(1) = 23
