“Aunt Imogen” depicts the expectations of females and males. On the one hand, females are expected to take care of everyone else, neglect their self needs, and have persistent happiness. on the other hand, males are  allowed to do what they want, have unchallenged confidence, say what they want, and think the world is a good place.
