what explanations did the delegates have for brockdorff rantzau reading his reply while remaining seated ?
ra1l [238]

Brockdorff-Rantzau was Germany's foreign minister when the Treaty of Versailles was signed. The treaty was meant to put an end to World War I.

Initially, the German delegation had great trust in the process, as they had been promise a treaty that would ensure "a peace without victory." However, what they obtained was very different. Brockdorff-Rantzau believed the terms of the treaty to be extremely harsh towards Germany. The country lost 13 percent of its territory and 10 percent of its population. Moreover, it was denied membership in the League of Nations, forced to pay significant reparations and forced to claim that they took sole responsibility for the war.

The delegates explained this by justifying the amount of destruction that they believed Germany was responsible for, and by referring to the actions of Germany during the war. Despite a great amount of debate, Germany was eventually forced to sign the treaty, creating a lot of resentment in the country.

List three things you notice about these images related to Buddhism that interest you.
Alona [7]

Answer:

it seems as if buddhism was spread all over Asia. Only men are present and they all have bald heads and this might represent purity as their bodies appear to be hairless. The buddha statue shows a buddha with something on his head. That is striking as they are usually seen as bald headed men in cloth rather than with jewellery or hair adorning their bodies.

My predictions: Buddism represents purity of ones mind body and soul. only men can be a part of buddhism

Question: What is the central belief of buddhism?

How did the 2nd industrial revolution affect class structure
STatiana [176]

Answer:

The second is the Industrial Revolution, and that involved the shift from farms to factories. ... Families were separated during the day, and children of the working class often had jobs in factories or coal mines (instead of going to school) because the family needed that income. Laws would later outlaw child labor.
