Girls=25+boys. Let one part be x. Then 5x are the boys and 6x are the girls. Then 6x=5x+25 25=x. 5x=125 boys. girls=boys+25=150. All students are 275

NeX [460]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Use Pythagorean theorem,

Base² + altitude² = hypotenuse²

15² +  altitude²  = 17²

225 +  altitude²  = 289

             altitude² = 289 - 225

             altitude² = 64

              altitude² = 8²

             altitude   = √8²

 altitude  = 8

P = 8 + 15 + 17 =  40 units

A= \frac{1}{2}*base * height\\\\ = \frac{1}{2}* 15 * 8\\\\= 15 * 4\\\\= 60 sq. units

B is the midpoint of line AC and E is the midpoint of line BD. If A(-9,-4), C(-1,6), and E(-4,-3) find the coordinates of D?
MakcuM [25]

Answer:

((-9 - 1)/2, (-4 + 6)/2) = (-5,1)

((-5 + x)/2, (1 + y)/2) = (-4,-3)

(-5 + x)/2 = -4

-5 + x = -8

x = -3

(1 + y)/2 = -3

1 + y = -6

y = -7

(-3,-7)
