. Convert your age into binary and then to hexadecimal. Show your work.

Computers and Technology
1 answer:
Dovator [93]4 years ago
5 0

Explanation:

Age = 23.

To convert a base 10 number to hexadecimal number we have to repeatedly divide the decimal number by 16 until  it becomes zero and store the remainder in the reverse direction of obtaining them.

23/16=1 remainder = 5

1/16=0 remainder = 1

Now writing the remainders in reverse direction that is 15.

My age in hexadecimal number is (15)₁₆.

Vitek1552 [10]

Using the try-except statement, the fix is as follows:

while True:

   try:

       boxes = int(input("How many boxes do you have?"))

       sweaters = int(input("How many sweaters do you have?"))

       break

   except:

       print("Input invalid")

sweatersPerBox = sweaters/boxes

print("You need to put",sweatersPerBox,"sweaters in each box")

<h3>How to prevent the program from crashing?</h3>

The program is given as:

boxes = int(input("How many boxes do you have?"))

sweaters = int(input("How many sweaters do you have?"))

sweatersPerBox = sweaters/boxes

print("You need to put",sweatersPerBox,"sweaters in each box")

The above program would crash when the user enters string inputs.

Examples of string inputs are "7h", "bh"...

One way to fix the error is the use of the try-except statement.

Using the try-except statement, the fix is as follows:

while True:

   try:

       boxes = int(input("How many boxes do you have?"))

       sweaters = int(input("How many sweaters do you have?"))

       break

   except:

       print("Input invalid")

sweatersPerBox = sweaters/boxes

print("You need to put",sweatersPerBox,"sweaters in each box")

The above program would continue running until the user enters a valid input

Another way is to end the program when the user enters string inputs

One of your primary business objectives is being able to trust the data stored in your application. You want to log all changes
lord [1]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Based on the information provided within the question it can be said that the best way to accomplish this would be to digitally sign each timestamp and log entry and store the signature. This is because each timestamp and log entry would be ran through a verification algorithm which would then be stamped with your digital signature that requires your private keys, thus preventing forgery.

In order to implement the classic DoS flood attack, the attacker must generate a sufficiently large volume of packets to exceed
gavmur [86]

Answer:

131 packets

Explanation:

Given

W (link ) =0.5 M bits,  and Ping packets ( P ) = 500bytes

To flood a target organization that has a bandwidth of W bits using a packet Mbits, you will require a W / P packet

P ( required ) = 500  * 8 = 4000 bits

therefore the W /P packet is calculated as

= 0.5 M bits / 4000 bits

given that :  1 M bits =  1,048,576 bits

0.5 M bits / 4000 bits=  131.07

hence approximately 131 packets/ sec is required to flood the target organization
