Which relation is a function?

Mathematics

Answer:

The second one is the function.

Explanation:

In the first one is (4,-2), (-1,3), (-5,-2), (3,3), and (3,7) this would not be a function because there are two of the same numbers in the X- intercept.

It will look like this <u>(</u>X,Y)

The second one is (4,-2), (-1,3), (-5,-2), and (3,7). This is not like the first one which makes it a function. It doesn't matter if you have two or more of the same numbers in the Y- intercept.

The third one is just like the the first one.

What helps me is writing them down like i did for the first and second choice.

Hope this helps. Have a nice day.

What is the midpoint of a line with endpoints (6,5) and (14,7), (Your answer
lawyer [7]

Answer:

Midpoint = (10,6)

Step-by-step explanation:

Using Coordinates: X(6,5) and Y(14,7)

Using the midpoint formula: M = (X1 +Y1)/2, (X2 + Y2)/2

Midpoint of XY = (6 + 14) / 2, (5 + 7) / 2

Midpoint of XY = (20) / 2, (12) / 2

Therefore the midpoint of XY is (10,6)
