Answer:

In the late fifteenth century, John Cabot sailed under the flag of England.

Explanation:

John Cabot was an Italian navigator and explorer who served for the Spanish and English crowns, known for having continued the work of Christopher Columbus and inaugurated the series of great voyages of discovery towards the north-west, in particular that with which on June 24, 1497 he discovered the land now known as Canada, which he claimed for England, although he thought he had reached northeast Asia. The following year he went out again, this time with five ships. None of the ships returned, and their wrecks were never found. Just a few years after Cabot sailing, Western European fishermen began fishing off the coast of Newfoundland.

Why does tubman results undergroud trips worth this risk involved why or why not?
Lynna [10]

Answer:

Harriet Tubman is perhaps the most well-known of all the Underground Railroad's “conductors.” During a ten-year span, she made 19 trips into the South and escorted over 300 slaves to freedom. And, as she once proudly pointed out to Frederick Douglass, in all of her journeys she “never lost a single passenger.”  Harriet Tubman, too, believed that all men and women are born free.  Hence, it was worth the risk each time she made a trip to the South to gather slaves.
