Explanation;
The Atlantic Charter was a joint declaration released by U.S president Franklin D. Roosevelt and British prime minister Winston Churchill in 1941, following a meeting in Newfoundland. 
The Charter included eight common principles; Supporting the postwar World, Not to seek territorial expansion, liberalization of international trade, to establish freedom of seas, and international labor, economic, and welfare standards. 
They were to support the restoration of self governments for all countries that had been occupied during the war and allowing people to choose their own form of government.
