Answer:

As you age, your brain and nervous system go through natural changes. Your brain and spinal cord lose nerve cells and weight (atrophy). Nerve cells may begin to pass messages more slowly than in the past. Waste products can collect in the brain tissue as nerve cells break down.

(ii) Fish use their gills as a gas exchange surface.
maks197457 [2]
Exchange of gases in fish is very efficient because of: the large surface area of the gills. the large surface area of the blood capillaries in each gill filament. the short distance required for diffusion – the outer layer of the gill filaments and the capillary walls are just one cell thick.

Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

a) the covalent bond between the last phosphate and the middle phosphate

Explanation:

The ADP is composed by a molecule of Adenine, Ribose and two Phosphate groups. The addition of a paper weight in the spring represents the last phosphate added in a ADP, resulting in a ATP. The last phosphate connected with Ribose by a covalent bond, represented by the round paper weight connected to a spring, can be easily detached in order to provide energy to the cell by a process called dephosphorylation.  The spring compressed represents the energy of the bond. In the model the compressed spring is represents the potential energy, but in the bond the energy is chemical, which will lead into a electron transference reaction.

gregor mendel law of segregation states the factors or genes seperate from each other during meiosis true or false
Mashutka [201]
True. Law of Segregation is one of the principles of herdity formulated by Gregor Mendel. It states that genes from a pair of homologous chromosomes separate during meiosis and then distributed to different gametes.
