The correct answer is D) They all has absolute rulers who built strong , central governments.

The 16th century saw the rise and increasing power of the absolute monarchies in Europe, alongside with the development of mercantilism and the formation of the modern European nation-states.

After the rule of the Catholic Kings and the unification of Spain at the end of the 15th century, during the following century, the Spanish monarchy was among the most powerful of the world. This was due mainly to the wealth (gold and silver) taken to Spain from its colonies in the Americas. The most renown Spanish king of this period is Carlos V.

France was also under an absolute monarchy, whose most notable king was Francis I, who initiated the French Renaissance.

Russia as well was under a strong absolute monarchy. During this century, the most remarkable Russian monarch was Ivan the Terrible, who ruled over almost 40 years and was the first king to adopt the title of Tsar of all Rus. He is considered one of the fathers of the Russian state.

Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

For the poem I will choose the desert, since between the Mediterranean and equatorial regions of Africa there are two large deserts, the Sahara to the north and the Kalahari to the south.

Explanation:

Oasis for the meeting

Our souls are undressed,

Oasis natural essences

Where our love becomes a verse

And where we are.

In the desert of stillness

I will vacuum your perfume

Where the desert of my thirst

Will look for your mouth

In a generous waterfall.

Which of these was a result of the treaty of brest-litovsk?The end of world war irussia's withdrawal from the warthe end of aust
Vlad [161]

Correct answer:  Russia's withdrawal from the war (World War I).

Russia withdrew from The Great War (which we now call World War I) after the Bolshevik Revolution brought Vladimir Lenin and the communists to power.  Revolutionary activity broke out in Russia in February, 1917 -- during the time of World War I.   Germany and Russia were on opposite sides in that war, and the German authorities helped Lenin, in exile, return to Russia in order to foment further revolution there and hurt the Russian government's ability to wage war in Europe.  The major revolution in Russia, known as the Bolshevik Revolution, occurred in the fall of 1917.  In March 1918, the new Soviet Russia government under Lenin ended its participation in the war, signing the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk.

What happened when Lee Yick appealed his conviction for running an illegal laundry in San Francisco to the U.S. Supreme Court?
Norma-Jean [14]
C. The Supreme Court decided that authorities had unfairly singled him out because of his race. This was because Lee Yick had worked in a laundromat for twenty years and it was illegal at the time that laundromats were to be built in wooden rooms. However, ninety-five percent of laundromats were in wooden complexes and only some of them were Chinese-owned, while others were owned by other races. However, Lee Yick was singled out and the Supreme Court ruled that although the law said it was race-blind, it in fact was judging him based on his race.
