After the climax of a story, the reader should expect B. FALLING ACTION to be next.

The flow of the story would be, first, exposition; second, rising action; third, climax; fourth, falling action; last, resolution.

Conflict happens between the exposition and rising action. It is the trigger of the rising action.

Macbeth has heard that his wife died but does not realize this as important and meaningless as life is only dust. Tomorrow is a phrase of beats of time that brings with it doom. The candle is maybe the imagery of a soul in which Macbeth's future is grim.

Which of the following shows the correct way to cite a second work in Works Cited with the title, First Time's a Charm by the au
nadezda [96]

D. ---. First Time's a Charm. Houston: La Prensa Texas, 1995. Print.

Since the Works Cited page is alphabetical, the two books by the same author will be one after the other. Because of this, you do not need to include any of the author's name. Instead, replace the name with three hyphens. Do NOT forget the period! It usually comes after the author's name, but in this case, it needs to be after the hyphens.

MLA has updated their requirements for citing sources. It is no longer the rule that you must put "Print" for print sources. Now, this citation should end with the period after the copyright date.

Try to pronounce the initial (first) sound of the word (thin) and identify its place of articulation. *
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

Concerning the place of articulation, the initial sound of thin is a voiceless dental.

Explanation:

Place of articulation is one of the three dimensions used to classify consonantal sounds (as well as voicing and manner of articulation), and refers to the area of the mouth where the constriction happens.

Dental sounds are oral and can be voiced or voiceless. They are called apico-dental sounds because the tip of the tongue, known as the lower articulator, articulates with the upper front teeth through soft contact. The symbol of this sound is [θ], called ‘theta’.
