In 18th century, ‘Agricultural revolution’ made the way for ‘Industrial Revolution’. Agricultural revolution brought new farming techniques and improved methods of breeding led to more production of food and stronger crops. This in turn resulted in growth in population and improved health of people.

Since more food was available for people to consume, they migrated from rural to urban areas. Now, there was availability of large labor to work in factories. People from rural areas settled there for getting better paid jobs. Factories needed more people to operate machines, packaging etc. So, they offered more jobs to them.

During the agricultural revolution, many things changed on farms. New technology was available and new methods of farming and livestock breeding were developed. More food meant more population growth and more population meant bigger cities. Bigger cities and more people needed more goods and thus the industrialization happened.
