To ensure that all people receive justice in our legal system, the state of Georgia has many different levels of courts to handle many different kinds of cases.  Georgias court system is what is often referred to as 'Municipal Courts'. As muni comes from the Latin word 'magnum' meaning 'many' or 'great'. These include the Magistrate Court, Jury Service, Probate Court, etc.
