Scarce resources encourage me to spend time thinking about how I use the limited amount of money and materials that have so that I may use them in a matter that best guarantees that I will get the most satisfaction out of it. Since resources also include time, they also define how much I time I spend doing which activities, and steer me to put in a certain degree of work.

Since there is a limited supply of resources, the great wheel that facilitates the cycle that these such resources use, known as money, must also be limited. How I manage my finances (money and resources). Knowing this, I am encouraged to invest such resources into more efficient outlets to attain the most powerful results out of my few resources.

skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

A) Price elasticity of demand = 8

B) PED is elastic

C) increase Danny's total revenue

Explanation:

we can calculate the price elasticity of demand using the formula:

PED = % change in quantity demanded / % change in price = [(300 - 100) / 100] / [(1.5 - 2) / 2] = (200 / 100) / (-0.5 / 2) = 2 / 0.25 = 8

if the PED is the same when the price decreases from $1 to $0.50, total revenue will :

  • when price = $1.50, total revenue = $1.50 x 300 = $450
  • when price = $1, total revenue = $1 x 1,100 = $1,100

*a 33.33% decrease in the price will cause a 266.6% increase (= 33.33% x 8) increase in the quantity demanded = 300 units + (300 x 266.6%) = 300 + 800 = 1,100 units

Explanation:

Revocation can be considered as a process of cancelling any decision or a promise officially. This is act that makes something that exists previously to be null or void. For instance someone has accepted to sell his property to someone and now he has the rights top revoke or cancel that declaration officially.

In the given example, McKenna offers to sell her hand painted European tiles to Lori. But the cancellation of this offer occurs before Lori accepted the offer. She says to Lori that she has changed her mind and not ready to sell those tiles. Hence the example is associated with revocation.

Anastaziya [24]

The answer is structural unemployment.

Long-term unemployment brought on by changes in the economy is referred to as structural unemployment.

Even while there are open positions, there is a mismatch between what employers require and what the current workforce can provide.

Long-term structural unemployment typically requires significant reform to reverse.

Technology has a tendency to make structural unemployment worse by marginalizing some employees and making some jobs, like manufacturing, obsolete.

Additional to the business cycle, other factors contribute to structural unemployment. This implies that structural unemployment can persist for decades and that drastic change may be required to address the issue.

Hence, The kind of unemployment that exists when there is a mismatch between a worker's skills and the jobs or the location of jobs available is structural unemployment.
