Jefferson declares that the right of religious freedom is “the natural right of mankind” and so should never be : infringed upon

Because of this view, we established the freedom of religion that protected under the first amendment of the constitution. But, the freedom of religion only applied on private settings. It cannot be operated on public settings (government owned institutions such as public schools)
