This would be considered a offense under the PC 246. If you are known to be with a gang, then you can be charged with the PC 186.22, the gang enhancement statute.
For these offenses you can get any of the following:

Totally hated the tea tax. Britain figured if they put a lower price on it the colonists would have to buy it from them. Smuggling tea was a common occurrence and that was the reason people dressed up as native americans so they could trash the tea hope i helped.
Although a totalitarian government is generally considered an unproductive and harmful idea, a totalitarian government would be considered more efficient at making decisions than a democratic one, because a democratic government makes decisions based on the people making the decisions through representation of all the different peoples. A totalitarian government, on the other hand, is a political system in which one person holds total control over the state. This would mean that the person would make all the decisions without needing anyone's consent and this would be more efficient, as decisions would be made quicker.

I think the major reason why American colonists were different is because they came to a new land to flee persecution from their government. In what I have learned about societies forming colonies, many colonies were formed in other countries because a nation had control of that country. Take the Greek empire for example. The Greek citizens moved to counties that Greece had invaded and dwelt among those people and learned from them as well. In the Americas no one had really formed a colony or claimed the land for their country. Hopefully this helps.
According to Aristotle's three classifications of government, if the government is ruled by one sovereign it is called a Monarchy, if this is corrupted to the selfish needs and ends of that one, it is called a Tyranny. If it is ruled by a few in society, who are above others it is called an aristocracy, however, if this is corrupted it is known as an Oligarchy, where this small group only seek selfish ends. If it is ruled by many for the good of all it is known as a Polity, or if it is for the good of many it is known as a democracy.
Rule by one: it is Monarchy or Tyranny (If Corrupted).
Rule by Few: Aristocracy or Oligarchy (If corrupted)
Rule by Many: Polity (For good of all) or Democracy (For the Good of many)
