Board of Education case (1954) he got the Supreme Court to stop racial segregation in public schools. The plan was created in response to the Virginia Plan, which called for two houses of Congress, both elected with apportionment according to population. The New Jersey Plan basically focused on ensuring that small states got an equal share of representation.
