<u>Answer:</u>

<em>There are 10 numbers between 1-100 which are equal to 5 times an odd number.</em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

<em>The odd numbers between 1 and 100 are 1,3,5,7….. </em>

When these when these odd numbers are multiplied by 5 we get the following result.

5 \times 1=5

5 \times 3=15

5 \times 19=95

<em>These products form an AP 5,15,25,…..,95 </em>

common difference d=10

first term a=5

last term a_n=95

we have to calculate the number of terms n

The expression for last term a_n of an AP is

<em>a_n=a+(n-1)d</em>

<em>a_n=a+nd-d</em>

<em>nd=a_n-a+d =95-5+10=100 </em>

<em>n= \frac{100}{d}= \frac{100}{10}=10</em>

Which formula can be used to calculate the theoretical yield? (5 points)
Semenov [28]

Answer:

Multiply the number of moles in the product by the molecular weight of the product to determine the theoretical yield.

Explanation:

For example:

If you created 0.5 moles of Aluminium Oxide the molecular weight of Aluminium Oxide is 101.96g/mole, so you would get 50.98g as the theoretical yield.

So multiply,..

101.96x0.5= 50.98

This is the correct way to calculate the theoretical yield

Why does galium melt
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Like most other metals, Gallium is solid at room temperature (or liquid if it is too hot in your room). But, if it is held [in hands] for long enough, it melts in your hands, and doesn't poison you like Mercury would. This is because of its unusually low melting point of (~29 degree Centigrade).

- It melts once it reaches its melting point.

Convert mass to moles for both reactants. (round to 2 significant figures.)
Maslowich

Answer:

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Mass of CuCl₂  = 2.50g

Mass of Al  = 0.50g

Unknown:

Number of moles of CuCl₂ and Al  = ?

Solution:

To solve this problem, we must understand that the number of moles is a fundamental property used in stoichiometry calculations.

         Number of moles  = \frac{mass}{molar mass}

Molar mass of CuCl₂  = 63.6 + 2(35.5) = 134.5g/mole

Molar mass of Al  = 26.98g/mole

          Number of moles of  CuCl₂  = \frac{2.5}{134.5}  = 0.019moles

        Number of moles of Al  = \frac{0.5}{26.98}   = 0.019moles

He following balanced equation shows the formation of water. 2H2 + O2 mc020-1.jpg 2H2O How many moles of oxygen (O2) are require
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer : The correct option is, 13.7 mole

Solution : Given,

Moles of H_2 = 27.4 moles

The given balanced chemical reaction is,

2H_2+O_2\rightarrow 2H_2O

From the balanced chemical reaction, we conclude that

As, 2 moles of H_2 react with 1 moles of O_2

So, 27.4 moles of H_2 react with \frac{27.4}{2}=13.7 moles of O_2

Therefore, the number of moles of oxygen O_2 required are, 13.7 moles
