For questions 1-8, read the text below and decide which answer (A,B or C) best fits each gap.
rewona [7]

He (1) A doesn't care if (2) C he isn't picked to start the game. He usually (3) A comes on as a sub in the second half and he often (4) C scores a goal in the final minutes. He (5) A knows that he can add that something extra and when we (6) B ‘re losing and there are 10 minutes left to the final whistle, he (7) B seems to get that adrenaline rush and just (8) C wants the ball to show what he can do. I guess he's our secret weapon- Super-sub Sully!

JUSTIFICATION:

1. The active voice of the present simple is appropriate here since the subject (He) is the one performing the action.

2. The Passive voice of the present simple is appropriate here because the main action (to pick) isn't performed by the subject, but by somebody else.

3. y 4. "Comes" and "Scores" are verbs used in the simple present tense for the third-person singular, and such tense is adequate here since the action of the subject happens regularly.

5. "Knows" is the form of the verb for the third-person singular in present simple tenses (He).

6. The use of present continuous here is right because the action (to lose) hasn't finished yet, is happening.

7. y 8. By saying those sentences in simple present, the writer is indicating that those actions happen regularly.
