The islands Okinawa and Iwo Jima were the stepping stones for the allies as they closed in on Japan. They were of great importance to victory in Pacific war. What was the impact of these amendments on the South during the Reconstruction era?
Pavel [41]
None of these make sense to me, it’s defiantly not the last two. People were not happy about these amendments and tried to keep black people from voting. There was more segregation so I would guess the second one maybe?

Language, religion, cuisine, social customs, music, and the arts are all aspects of culture—the traits and knowledge that define a particular group of people. Furthering this definition, The Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition(opens in new tab) describes culture as a set of learned cognitive conceptions, socially transmitted patterns of behavior, and knowledge. As a result, culture can be defined as the development of a group identity that is supported by social patterns that are exclusive to the group. "Culture involves religion, food, what we eat, how we eat it, our language, marriage, music, what we believe is right or wrong, how we sit at the table, how we greet visitors, how we act with loved ones, and a million other things," An anthropologist employed at Barnet and Southgate is Cristina De Rossi.
