The correct answers are A) the right to farm land. B) seeds to plant. E) The use of farming tools.

Sharecroppers usually received from landowners in exchange for their work, the following things: the right to farm land, seeds to plant, and the use of farming tools.

After the American Civil War and the victory of the Union Army, slavery was abolished. However, the Southern states did not like the idea of abolition and during the Reconstruction period, President Abraham Lincoln gave southern states leeway to Reconstruction at their own pace. After his assassination, and during the tome of President Jackson, sharecropping represented an option for former slaves in the South. For the right to farm the land and get a cabin to live, Sharecroppers had to increase the production of crops and gave 50% of the crops to the owner of the land.

Which Democratic president was responsible for starting early civil rights reforms during the 1960s? A. Franklin D. Roosevelt B.
levacccp [35]
On January 20, 1961, the handsome and charismatic John F. Kennedy became president of the United States. His confidence that, as one historian put it, “the government possessed big answers to big problems” seemed to set the tone for the rest of the decade. However, that golden age never materialized. On the contrary, by the end of the 1960s it seemed that the nation was falling apart.
