1. The Boston Tea Party

The Boston Tea Party was a riot led by the American Patriots Sons of Liberty, they rebelled against the several taxes that Britain imposed on the American colonies, they had the motto “no taxation without representation”. They did not agree with the fact they did not have any representatives in the British Parliament yet were imposed a series of taxes.

2. The Boston Massacre

The Boston Massacre was a riot that took place on King Street in Boston. Many things led to the Massacre, but the main reason for it was that the city of Boston was filled with British soldiers that tried to enforce the British tax laws into the colonies. Patriots started to vandalize stores as a way to rebel against the soldiers which eventually led to a fight between them which led to the conflict on March 5th, 1770, several colonists were shot and killed.

3. The Stamp Act

The Stamp Act was a tax imposed by the British Parliament over the American colonies. The tax was imposed overall paper documents in the colonies, and it was designed to pay the British debt acquired from the Seven Years War.

Give two details for the main idea C. The fourteenth Amendment gave certain civil rights to Americans.
Jet001 [13]

The fourteenth Amendment provides equal protection for Americans. This means that no matter your age, race, gender, religion, etc, you will be treated equally by the government. Another one is immunity. This basically means that the states cannot take away certain rights we get from the Constitution. There are numerous rights the fourteenth Amendment give us and those are just two.
