Consider the title of the story. What is Walter Mitty’s “secret” life? Who is it a secret from?
timofeeve [1]
I just watched this movie so I can help. His secret life is his constant state of daydreams. All the time he viewed himself as a hero but never did anything about it. Then when the guy in the mountains I forgot his name lol lost picture 25 and Walter had to get it, he saw it as his time to do something about it. His life is secret from the rest of the world. He’s always being awkwardly snapped out of daydreams by his crush or the mean boss (Adam Scott, don’t know the characters name).

Before the war, what did the U.S. government want to do about slavery? A. Expand it B. Ignore it C. Outlaw it D. Restrict it
ozzi
I would say D. Restrict it because the north of the U.S. had no slavery while the south did so they kinda restricted it to only being allowed in the south.

Choose a character that you particularly liked or disliked this semester in a piece of literature. in 3-5 sentences explain how
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

The character described below is called Marianne, she is in the book "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen .

Explanation:

If you've read Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, you must have been enchanted by the sisters Marianne and Elinor. The first with an inordinate amount of sensitivity, with a penchant for love poems and melancholic songs, and the second: practical, rational, with a force worthy of reverence.

Marianne is described as romantic and expressive. Marianne's romanticism and impulsiveness are so intense that it can even irritate. That's right, the degree of sensitivity of the character Marianne irritates. Because as you read and know this fragility exposed, you want, like your sister Elinor, that she awakens, that she does not "succumb" to life.

Marianne is described as the type of person who would never question modes and pertinence. He would never stop or stop dying if the cause were noble. Marianne annoys! You warn her: No! And she just can not obey. Because she is committed to her passionate and emotional essence.
