Well.. so many folks caught a cold
so many off that total, recovered,
keep in mind that, the folks who recovered
are just a fraction of the ones who were
sick

so... simply subtract the "recovered" polynomial,
from the "caugh cold" polynomial, namely
\begin{cases}
8t-5t^2+t^3\impliedby &\textit{caught a cold}\\
\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\\

\cfrac{5-t^2+1}{5t^3}\impliedby &recovered
\end{cases}
\\ \quad \\\
[8t-5t^2+t^3]-\left[ \cfrac{5-t^2+1}{5t^3} \right]\implies \textit{still sick}

Geraldo has a coupon for $12 off the total bill at a local restaurant. Geraldo does not want to spend more than $65. The inequal
Trava [24]
In here, we could write an equality as x – 12 < 65. In solving inequalities, we follow the same rule as solving algebraic expressions. We will transpose 12 to the other side, giving us x < 65 + 12. Simplifying, we have x < 77. Geraldo must have a bill less than $77 in order for him not to spend more than $65.

What is x in the equation <br> 4(x+6)= 5(x+9)+4x?
Hoochie [10]
Hello there!

4(x + 6) = 5( x + 9) + 4x

We wanna start with the distributive property

(4)(x) + (4)(6) = (5)(x) + (5)(9) + 4x

4x + 24 = 5x + 45 + 4x

4x + 24 = 9x + 45

Subtract 24 on both sides

4x + 24 - 24 = 9x + 45 - 24

4x = 9x + 21

Subtract 9x on both sides

4x - 9x = 9x + 21 - 9x

-5x = 21

Divide both sides by -5

-5x/-5 = 21/-5

x = -21/5

Simplify 11^4/11^8.<br><br> 1/11^12<br> 1/11^4<br> 11^4<br> 11^12
AnnZ [28]
Supa dupa easy

remember
x^-m=1/(x^m) and
(x^m)/(x^n)=x^(m-n)
so
(11^4)/(11^8)=11^(4-8)=11^-4=1/(11^4)
