A. Modern art does not deserve to be called art.

This is correct because if you read the authors reasoning in the passage you can see that the author has no respect for art that doesn't have universal feelings, i.e Modern art.

the following statement that the author would endorse is:

B. Modern art is a clear expression of modern man's thoughts and

feelings.

By saying "Art should express the thoughts and feelings of the artist. Universal feelings

should be expressed so that anyone who looks at the work of art can understand

what the artist is trying to say" the author implies that modern art should express the thoughts and feeling of the artist.

Natasha2012 [34]
To incite is to to stir, encourage, or urge on; stimulate or prompt to action, so technically, the only thing that may cause that would be responsibility (option B). Although, without any proper context, I can't say it too confidently. Abandonment would make her feel helpless and confused, an interrogation seems like action has already been taken, and another protagonist would cause.....mixed feelings honestly.

Troyanec [42]

Answer:

Dear Cousin,

I agree with Paine when he said that the colonies need independence from Great Britain. Our colonies have been striving well. We can make our own naval fleet bigger than the British Navy. If we build our own, then maybe we can grow and trade with other countries with much ease. We should not depend on Britain, because we will never grow as a nation. Independence will allow us to grow and prosper, much bigger than the country that has colonized us.

Your cousin,

Blank
