D. 8 grams
The equation
Ending Amount = Beginning Amount / 2(time / half-life)
32/2^(6/3)

Answer:

d. 8 grams.

Step-by-step explanation:

After 1 half life there is 1/2 * 32 = 16 grams left , after another half-life ( at 6 days) there is 1/2 * 16 = 8 grams left.

A boy, who is 5 ft. 6 in. tall, casts a shadow 2 ft long. Find the height of the pole if it casts a shadow 2 yards long.
GalinKa [24]

1 yard = 3 feet

2 yards = 6 feet

2 feet * 3 = 6 feet

 so 5.5 ft * 3 = 16.5 feet, so pole is 16 feet 6 inches

If the endpoints of the diameter of a circle are (10, 12) and (0, 2), what is the standard form equation of the circle? A) (x +
attashe74 [19]
So the equation of a circle is (x - h)² + (y - k)² = r² where (h,k) are the coordinates of the center of the circle and r is the radius. The diameter of a circle is a line that goes from one point of the circle to the other through the center of the circle. Well the center would be midway through the diameter so use midpoint formula to find the center which is (h,k) Mid point formula is both given x's added together divided by 2 for h and both y coordinates added together divided by 2 to find k
(10+0)/2
10/2= 5
(12+2)/2
14/2 = 7
so the center of the circle is (5,7) now use distance formula using the center and one of the points to the radius
√((5-10)²+(7-12)²)
√(-5²+ -5²)
√(25 + 25)
√50 is the radius
Now plug all found information into circle equation
(x-5)² + (y-7)² =50      note the end is 50 because the circle equation is radius squared and since the radius is √50, radius² is 50.

(Quick please ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help me!!!!! find the surface area of the rectangular prism!!!!!! thank you
Aleks [24]
You can do this !

The rectangular prism has

                   -- length = 10 cm
                   -- width  =  7 cm
                   -- height =  3 cm.

-- The area of the top and bottom is  (length x width)  each.

-- The area of the left and right sides is  (length x height)  each.

-- The area of the front and back is  (width x height)  each.

There.  I just laid out all the schmartz you need to answer this question.
The rest is all simple arithmetic, and you're perfectly capable of turning
the crank and getting the answer.  You don't need anybody else to do
that part for you.

Don't forget your units.  The area of each flat face is (cm) times (cm),
and that product will be some cm² , for area.
