I'd seriously love to hear y'alls opinions. Do you agree with the statement by some people that death is the ultimate sacrifice?

What are some examples of people who have purposely died to save others? Why do you think they chose to do this?

For some people yes.   Ryan Arnold's brother needed a liver and he gave his which killed Ryan. Beacuse they love the other thing.

No, I personally don't care if someone die to save someone, it really just a morale statement like most things, all laws are based off a morale, so is sacrificing your self to save someone.
