X is 21 because vertical angles are congruent to each other so 4x=84. X=21 when you divide by 4 on each side.
KMH is 96 because a line is 180. 180-84=96
CBE is 118 because a line is 180. DBE is 90 so ABE also has to be 90. To find ABF it's 90-62 which is 28. CBD is also 28 because that's the vertical angle from ABF and that's congruent. so 90+28= 118. Hope this helps!

Given the function y=log3(x+2)-2. List the transformations
slava [35]

Answer:

Exponential transformation.

Step-by-step explanation:

y = log_3 (x + 3) - 2

To transform this into exponential, we have:

Adding 2 to both sides

y + 2 = log_3 (x + 3)

3^(y + 2) = x + 3

x = 3^(y + 2) - 3

Find the slope of the line passing through the given points (-5, 14) and (-1,2).
dexar [7]
So your formula is y1 - y2 divided by x1 - x2. Start off with the -5, 14 as your x1 and y1 because its the biggest out of the other one. So do 14 - 2 = 12 so thats your top part and -5 - -1 which is -4 so your fraction will be 12/-4 or you have -3 as a whole number

Find the solutions of the quadratic equation 14x^2+9x+10=014x
Vesnalui [34]

Answer:

Option B. x=-\frac{9}{28}(+/-)\frac{\sqrt{479}}{28}i

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The formula to solve a quadratic equation of the form ax^{2} +bx+c=0 is equal to

x=\frac{-b(+/-)\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}} {2a}

in this problem we have

14x^{2}+9x+10=0

so

a=14\\b=9\\c=10

substitute in the formula

x=\frac{-9(+/-)\sqrt{9^{2}-4(14)(10)}} {2(14)}

x=\frac{-9(+/-)\sqrt{-479}} {28}

Remember that

i=\sqrt{-1}

substitute

x=\frac{-9(+/-)\sqrt{479}i} {28}

x=-\frac{9}{28}(+/-)\frac{\sqrt{479}}{28}i
