Read the following prompt and type your response in the space provided. Think about the short story "Raymond's Run." Which point
Igoryamba
"Raymond's Run" is written in the first person point of view. You know this because the narrator, Squeaky, uses the word "I" and describes the action as she sees it.

This helps give the reader a better sense of character, plot, and theme because she leads the reader through the story. She tells you exactly what she thinks of each character she comes across, and the story follows her through her day and through her actions which help keep track of the plot.

A Three-Point Turn

The line that most clearly creates the climax is "'I don't know, I don't know,' Becky wailed, resting her head on the steering wheel. 'I just get so tired...'"

What is climax in literature?

The climax of a story is the moment where the tension that has been building up reaches its breaking point. It is in the climax that the most important or difficult conflict has to be faced by the characters.

In the story we are analyzing here, the climax happens when Becky's anxiety reaches a breaking point. She is disappointed at herself and anxious about the driving text. She finally breaks down, which is shown in the lines:

"I don't know, I don't know," Becky wailed, resting her head on the steering wheel. "I just get so tired of failing."

From here on, we have the resolution as her brother Justin reasons with her and helps her deal with her anxiety. Thus, with the information above in mind, we can choose option A as the correct answer for this question.

How to be positive, confident and care less about the world?
MakcuM [25]
Try to look at the brighter side. if you’re in a situation (for example) where you are waiting for test results, don’t think about the bad possibilities that could happen but more of what good could happen. try to keep an open mind and but don’t ignore the truth.

stop looking back at your past!! you can’t do anything about it and you never will! it’s in the past for a reason. all you can do is keep living in the present and live your life.

it’s gonna take some time to care less about the world but eventually you’ll get there. you just have to understand how special you are and how most things that you are insecure or worried about don’t matter. you also have to let go of letting everything be perfect and your job IS NOT to please everyone except yourself. and try to find yourself and who you really are :)
