George w. bush face challenges for re-election in 2004 since his critics charged that him for exaggerated evidence on weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in Iraq and for misleading Americans in his effort to win support for the war. The truth is that Saddam did not issue direct verbal orders to develop WMD. The only evidence against Saddam were his intentions as well as his own cryptic remarks. Hence, the critics used it against Bush as exaggerated evidence.
